Our clinicians are experts in a variety of areas within mental health. Our independently licensed clinical social workers, therapists, and board certified psychiatrists have experience working with patients in all care settings and throughout the psychiatric continuum-of-care. They are among the best in the country. We standby ready to provide consultation and referrals on all types of cases. Below are some hypothetical examples of common cases which we are able to provide assistance in evaluation, referral and treatment:

Case #1 (Child)

Four year old boy with a history suggestive of intrauterine exposure and/or perhaps RAD. Progressively more aggressive of late. Psychiatric referral has been made, but the appointment is weeks away. Pediatrician is seeking referrals to support he family, and suggestions for medications while waiting for psychiatry appointment.

Case #2 (Child)
Seven year old female with ADHD, mild fetal alcohol syndrome, and sleep problems. The pediatrician has already tried Clonidine and Melatonin. A recent trial of 18 mg Concerta in morning worsened sleep and now on trial of short acting Ritalin 5 mg morning and lunch. The pediatrician would like advice on other medications that can help sleep, and referrals to a therapist.

Case #3 (Teenager)
Fifteen year old boy with worsening depression and non-responsive to medication trials. Socially withdrawn, very few friends and inactive. Nurse Practitioner is seeking alternative treatment referrals and alternative suggestions for medications or possibly changes in lifestyle regiment. Possible chemical dependency use, but unconfirmed.

Case #4 (Parent)
Twenty nine year old mother, who gave birth to her second child three months ago. She is being treated by her OBGYN for postpartum depression, and is reluctant to take prescription medication. Her symptoms have become severe and her doctor knows that she needs both medication and a referral to the most appropriate psychotherapy.
