"When I try to describe to another physician what the service is, he or she looks at me like I'm telling tall tales! It is THAT easy to sign up for a consult time online. It is THAT easy to find a time that I'll be able to take the call in my busy schedule. YES, the Board Certified Child Psychiatrist calls me at the designated time, and we have a collegial conversation about the treatment plan (medication starts, changes, combinations, other therapies) for my patient, which I later document in the patient chart. I feel supported in the care I'm giving in prescribing to some of my tougher cases; and given the shortage of child psychiatrists in my area, I am grateful for this help. I encourage my peers to give it a try."

"What an amazing service. In just 15 minutes, I got at least 3 new ideas to help me manage my patient. Very helpful! And so easy to access. I will definitely be spreading the word. With the dearth of mental health services, a consult line like this is a life line for primary care providers."

“I felt the PAL social worker and psychiatrist were very helpful in discussing the case I called about, and didn’t take much time out of my day. It was easy to schedule online, and I plan to use PAL again. It is a very needed service.”

"PAL is such as great opportunity for providers to practice better care! I am very excited to use the service.”
